Recently, archaeologists made a fascinating discovery – a colossal “fossil” that resembled an ancient snake of considerable size. What was found is not a snake fossil, but rather a rock that happens to bear an uncanny resemblance to a snake. When you first lay eyes on this rock, you may be taken aback as it appears to be in close proximity to a massive snake. This intriguing location is known as Naka Cave.
The rock’s shape distinctly resembles that of a snake’s head. Naka Cave is a place steeped in myths and legends, many of which center around a particular section of the cave that bears an uncanny resemblance to a serpent. According to legend, the Mekong River in northeastern Thailand and Laos was formed by two Naga kings slithering through the area, which is now known as Phu Langka National Park.
